About Catalyst Integration for Health
Catalyst Integration for Health began as a specialized psychiatric clinic in Sacramento, California, offering innovative treatments like ketamine and Spravato (esketamine) for depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. From the beginning, our mission was to provide deeply personalized, evidence-based care—especially for patients who hadn’t found relief with traditional options.

As more patients came through our doors, they asked if we could manage their other mental health medications as well. They told us they felt heard by our providers, who took time to understand their needs and offered prompt, compassionate follow-up. They appreciated the human touch: real people answering the phone, quick callbacks, and a clinic environment that felt warm, responsive, and genuinely supportive.

With years of experience in psychiatric medication management, our expert clinicians were already equipped to meet these needs. So we expanded. Today, Catalyst offers a full range of psychiatric care services, including diagnosis and treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more, while continuing to offer advanced treatments like ketamine therapy.
Meet Eric Tepper, MD, Founder and Medical Director
Dr. Eric Tepper is a board-certified physician with over two decades of experience in both primary care and mental health. After earning his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in 2000 and completing his residency and board certification, Dr. Tepper opened his private practice in Sacramento in 2003. Since then, he has become a trusted and respected figure in the local medical community.
Dr. Tepper has served as an attending physician at both Sutter General Hospital and Mercy General Hospital, where he was also elected chair of the Family Medicine department. He has dedicated many years to teaching resident physicians and mentoring the next generation of doctors. His leadership includes serving as the medical director for several psychiatric facilities in the Sacramento region—gaining extensive experience in managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

In 2019, when esketamine (Spravato) received FDA approval as a breakthrough treatment for treatment-resistant depression, Dr. Tepper pursued specialized training to incorporate this powerful tool into his practice. After witnessing firsthand the positive outcomes in his patients, he founded Catalyst Integration for Health, a REMS-certified psychiatric clinic focused on ketamine and esketamine treatment for depression, trauma, and anxiety.

Today, Dr. Tepper is recognized nationally for his expertise in ketamine treatment. He actively trains physicians across the country in safe, effective use of ketamine for mental health, and continues to stay at the forefront of this evolving field.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Tepper is an active member of the Sacramento community. He has volunteered as a physician for local high school sports teams and Boy Scout troops and provides ongoing support to schools, nonprofits, and human service organizations. Through Catalyst’s Giving Back initiative, 100% of profits from Catalyst’s online shop are donated to nonprofits both locally and globally.

Meet Fatima Rivera (medical assistant)
Our medical assistant, Fatima, has worked for Dr. Tepper since 2014. She is absolutely beloved by patients for her warmth, caring personality, and sense of humor. Here are her words (as she really says it best):

"My time here has solidified my love for patient care and growth. I see and treat patients as if they were my own family member. In my free time, you can find me by the ocean, traveling the world, spending time with my family, or hanging out with animals. The most rewarding part of this job has been the connections that I have built over the years with patients and their families. Please know that I am eager to answer any questions or concerns about your treatment or life. I am here to help!"
